How to get there
Enter the Acropolis site via Akropoli metro (Line 2, 5 min walk to south gate) or Monastiraki (10 min via Dionysiou Areopagitou).
Best time to visit
First slot at opening avoids the worst of the sun and the tour-group waves. Golden hour is 90 minutes before summer close. Allow 30–45 minutes at the Parthenon itself; 2–3 hours for the whole Acropolis site.
