1. Who we are

Travelhour is a travel-itinerary app published by Travelhour, an independent developer. Contact us at privacy@travelhour.app.

2. What we collect

We try to collect as little data as possible. Specifically:

  • Account data — when you sign in, we store your email, display name, and (if you provided one) profile photo. We use your account to sync your liked places and trip plans across your devices.
  • Liked places & trip plans — what you swipe right on, the routes you build, the cities you favourite. Stored on our backend so they persist across reinstalls. We do not share this with third parties.
  • Location — used in-app for the walking distance badges and live navigation. Location stays on your device; we do not send it to our servers.
  • Anonymous route likes — when you heart a popular route, we store a device-specific anonymous identifier so the same device doesn't double-vote. We cannot tie this identifier to your name, email, or location.
  • Crash + analytics — anonymous app usage and crash reports through Apple App Store / Google Play's standard developer telemetry. No personal identifiers.

3. What we do not collect

We do not collect:

  • Your contacts
  • Your photos library (except when you pick a profile photo)
  • Your microphone or camera input
  • Your other apps' activity
  • Behavioural advertising profiles

We do not sell any data to third parties under any circumstances.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small set of third parties to make the app work:

  • Apple / Google sign-in — handles authentication. Their privacy policies govern that step.
  • Supabase — hosts your liked places and route likes. Subject to Supabase's privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat — manages subscriptions. Stores an anonymous purchase identifier, not your card details (those stay with Apple / Google).
  • Wikipedia / Wikimedia / Pexels / Mapbox — sources of place information, photographs, and maps. Requests are anonymous; we proxy nothing through these services.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, or its deletion, at any time by emailing privacy@travelhour.app. Subject access requests are processed within 30 days, in line with GDPR.

To delete your account in-app: open the Travelhour app → Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes your account, liked places, and route plans from our servers within 24 hours.

6. Children

Travelhour is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under that age.

7. Changes

If we change this policy materially we'll notify Pro subscribers by email and post a notice in the app. Otherwise the most recent version is always this page.
